This past week working as a team has been a learning
experience. We had to be in sync, varying from scheduling meeting times,
working on the abstract, and the proposal. While doing so, I learned a lot
about my group and how effective we are together.
Our panel abstract is important in the field of animal
science. We are working on studying the different aspects of sow housing. The
behavioral, social and physical state of sows is very significant to all
consumers. This collective topic directly relates to my individual theme. As a
matter of fact, I am studying a component of the behavioral effects of sows
while living in a confined space. My primary field of study is Mathematics;
comprehending this issue has been a new experience for me.
